Chelsia Watson is a passionate data scientist and the founder of Watson & Company Research Inc. With a strong academic background in healthcare and medical science, she holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc), a Bachelor of Health Studies (BHS), and a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Science. Chelsia’s expertise lies in using data to drive evidence-based decisions, with a focus on intersectional study design and big data analytics. As the lead data scientist, she brings a unique blend of research experience, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering clear, actionable insights that empower businesses to thrive.

Stella Igweamaka, BSc, MBA

Research and Partnerships Consultant

Stella brings a strong background in research, strategy, and partnerships to Watson & Company Research. With an MBA from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor of Science, she has built a career at the intersection of market research, community advocacy, and business development. Her expertise spans survey dissemination, results interpretation, partnership building, and outreach to both media and stakeholders. At Watson & Company Research, Stella supports our efforts in expanding collaborations, conducting focus groups, and ensuring that our insights reach the communities and industries that need them most.

Kera Hinds-James, BSc, BEd, OCT

Junior Data Analyst

Kera Hinds-James is an emerging data analyst at Watson & Company Research Inc., driven by a deep curiosity and a passion for using data to improve access to information and empower communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd), and is a certified Ontario teacher (OCT), bringing a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work. With experience across diverse industries, Kera applies an inquiry-driven approach to data analysis, grounded in a commitment to equity and education. At Watson & Company, she contributes to research projects with thoughtful insight, technical skill, and a belief in the power of data to drive meaningful change.

Dr. Njoki Wane is a Professor in the Department of Social Justice Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. Her work focuses on decolonizing knowledge, equity in education, and community empowerment. As a collaborator, Dr. Wane contributes her expertise in intersectional research frameworks and ethical approaches to community-based inquiry.

Dr. Linda Iwenofu

Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Psychology & Human Development, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto

Dr. Iwenofu is a clinical child and adolescent psychologist whose passion lies in mental health for children and youth — particularly those from racially or culturally diverse backgrounds. Her work focuses on how experiences like racial discrimination, immigration, and trauma impact young people’s wellbeing, and she brings both clinical and research acumen to our projects.
